At the James R. Jordan Foundation, we believe in leveling the academic playing field for hard-working students regardless of their socio-economic status.

We could not do the work to support our students, schools and communities without the mentors, volunteers, corporate and financial partners who provide the resources we need to ensure our students' academic success. 

There are many ways to get involved! 

• Peer Mentors are high school students from Chicago Public Schools, like Crane Medical Prep, who have an interest in assisting elementary students prepare for high school.
• A-Team/S.T.E.A.M. Mentors are career professionals who are interested in assisting students in our partner school through understanding S.T.E.A.M. subjects and building well-rounded character skills. 
• General Volunteers are those passionate about positively impacting the hard-working students who may not have all of the proper tools to succeed and are willing to help out where it is most necessary. 
• Events Volunteers provide the extra help needed during the busy holiday season and special occasions to ensure a smooth and successful program.
