"Sweaters and Sushi" Holiday (FUN)Raiser!

Picture
Each year the James R. Jordan Foundation provides a wonderful holiday celebration for nearly 1700 under-served Pre-K to 8th grade students who are from the West Haven and Englewood communities.  They are treated to a warm holiday meal with all of the trimmings and abundant holiday themed activities as well as a Christmas Bazaar where they can “shop” for their family member’s presents. 100% of the proceeds from the "Sweaters and Sushi" event will go towards providing a wonderful holiday celebration, age appropriate presents and a warm holiday meal for each of these students!
Reverie is a two-story eatery where sports and food coexist in a way that is innovative, upscale and approachable. Created by a local group of dedicated tastemakers including restaurateurs Adam Cisek (Red Ivy, Palermo’s) and Jesse Boyle (Red Ivy, Grand Tour); Intrestco partners Master Chef Rodelio Aglibot, Aeron Lancero (E+O Food and Drink, Yum Cha) and Paul M. Lee (Coco Pazzo, Tre Soldi, Sunda, E+O Food and Drink, Yum Cha); and an investor lineup of top Chicago sportscasters that includes Lou Canellis, Ryan Baker and Kip Lewis, Reverie aims to bring to life the “impractical idea” that food and entertainment can bond in a way that is fresh and sophisticated. The chic interior reflects the spirit of daydreaming in reality. The first floor offers gourmet, regional American fare with Asian accents cultivated by Aglibot (aka the “Food Buddha”) and a top-flight mixology program. The upstairs lounge and event space offer state-of-the-art technology with relaxed, modular seating, alongside a globally inspired sushi bar.
