S.T.E.A.M. exposes communities of African Americans, Latinos and persons of lower socioeconomic backgrounds to S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) resources and experiences, ultimately building their educational capacity and professional possibilities.

Read With Me! equips students from Pre-Kindergarten to 4th grade with improved literacy skills and increased reading motivation. RWM sets students up to enter 5th grade on their targeted reading level to compete with their peers and continued academic success.

As a grassroots organization, the James R. Jordan Foundation works to meet the needs of youth who have limited access to resources necessary to succeed academically. Our goal is to help level the playing field for these students, see them advance to higher education, and help them reach their highest potential.
During the 2019-20 year, we had the honor of serving 1,405 students and 306 parents and guardians through our programs and special events. We served a total of 517 students across our 4 major programs, and with support from our partners, we collaborated with 45 professional content experts and 66 volunteers and mentors to bring awareness, discovery, and knowledge to our students and families. |
