On Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, the James R. Jordan Foundation (JRJF) will join millions around the globe to celebrate GivingTuesday. GivingTuesday is a global movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Last year over $400 million was raised in under 24 hours to benefit a tremendously broad range of organizations and more was given in volunteer hours, donations, food and clothing and acts of kindness.
This #GivingTuesday, the James R. Jordan Foundation (JRJF) will raise funds to help send four families to Family Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. This experience allows a student and one of their parents/guardians to conduct hands on science experiments, explore careers in S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) and learn about the latest NASA projects. It's an opportunity to expose students and parents/guardians to a world outside of their own and see what is possible.
