Oct 22 - S.T.E.A.M. Saturday Sessions kick off the year-round program!

In partnership with CISCO and the Illinois Math and Science Academy, students meet bi-monthly to learn S.T.E.A.M. skills. Students were re-introduced to S.T.E.A.M. program and the basics of the STEAM curriculum.  For the hands-on learning component, Cisco representative, Dave Termunde, taught students how to dismantle and reassemble laptops and other electronics to learn how they are made and operate. Selected high school students from Richard T. Crane Medical Preparatory High School and the Illinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA) volunteered to help with the activities and mentor the elementary students.
